The last time I was at The Pub was at the Cleveland airport and I used to get so excited to fly out of there because of it. So while recently visiting Orlando I was pretty excited to go here with my gf after discovering it on Yelp and have some fish and chips and some drinks. It's located at The Pointe which is an awesome area in general for a multitude of activities. I was impressed right off the bat with the overall exterior and interior of this location. It's as close to a real British pub as possible for being newer and a chain. We were greeted by the hostess and we chose to sit at a table in the patio area outside. It was during the solar eclipse so we got to see it while enjoying a beer and cocktail. The hostess and waitress were both lovely and were very attentive and the service was prompt. It was happy hour so we started off with two waters and I ordered a Harp draft beer and my gf ordered the Blue Hawaiian. Both were delicious! We ordered the Reuben Spring Rolls. I rarely if ever eat meat, but I had to have some of these to share and they were beyond the word tasty. We then proceeded to order The Best Fish & Chips in the U.S. to share and I don't know if they were the best I've ever had but they were definitely very good. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were both excellent! The whole ambiance of this place makes you feel like you're in a real British Pub and I love that this place exists. Even in the rain, we found time to stop at a really nice 'Pub" in Orlando. The spot was really nice.. Great selection of restaurant in the area and outdoor ambiance. Walking in, the place looks like the coolest Pub around! Had the feel of being in London and the service at our table was great! Our bartender Andrea greeted us with a smile on her face, offering us samples of beer until we found which one we liked. She's awesome! It's a nice friendly Brit-styled pub, with decent pub food and some great beers, everything from Old Speckled Hen and Smthwicks to local Cincinnati gems like newcomer Esoteric's great brews. They often come out with short term special menus. Don't miss their St. Paddy's Day Irish meals! Or you can get their pot roast all year; lots of beef and delicious! Prefer a burger? Their selection is goid there too, and they'll customize one for you as well. Always a friendly crowd. They have a great outdoor area when it's warmer, which can be enclosed during colder months. They have live music every other Wednesday and on some other days. Like all establishments the labor shortage has caused wait-staff turnover, but they have a great dedicated core staff and management. Wonderful service, atmosphere, live music, beer, and food. Words cannot describe the enormous portion of the fish as well as the absolute amazing taste and how the fish was cooked, was exceptional. It's literally enough for three people. They continue to provide the best service, and great food! My wife and I went to The Pub for lunch, and the staff went out of their way to make sure our celebration was perfect. Our server was Shawn. He did everything right, he was polite and glad to wait on us. I had the wedge salad with sirloin, and my wife had the pretzel sandwich with their amazing house made chips. Everything arrived quickly and just as ordered. The General manager, Chris stopped by to thank us for returning to The Pub, and check on us, we let Shawn know it was a favorite place. Came in for dinner last night, there was a slight wait so we grabbed drinks at the bar. The bar staff was super friendly and made us feel like regulars. Anna was hilarious!! She said it was one of her first nights but she had us fooled!! Massive scotch selection, and great hard-to-find beers on tap!! We were seated in less time than quoted (always a plus), got another round of drinks, Kara was attentive and very knowledgeable on their vast menu. I had the fish and chips (amazing and huge perfectly cooked), and the cookie Sunday (ridiculously good). The restaurant was busy but Kara seemed calm and centered.
