First time travelling with a pet (dog) looking for a place to stop and eat that was pet friendly. Went to a few establishments and would not clean off the tables outside for us. Stop at this location and not only was it pet friendly it was pet welcome. There was live music, wonderful patio, amazing service and excellent atmosphere. In addition to welcoming our pet, they provided us a pet menu to order for our dog and complementary water bowl. Great Meal Three of us gathered for dinner. We wanted to share a scotch egg as an appetizer. I had never had this before, and it turned out to be delicious. (It's a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage and parmesan bread crumbs.) They serve it with their own mustard. This restaurant claims to have an award for the best fish & chips in the entire USA. So I had to try it. I have no way of knowing whether this is in fact the best in the country, but I can say that it's really good and comes in a large portion. The two women with me both had salmon, which they pronounced to be excellent. Then there was the outstanding, but very filling, Whiskey Bread Pudding for dessert. Private Party Heaven Carol, one of the managers, made sure our party of 50 were well taken care of. The service was just outstanding. The food was great. Fantastic Dinner and Live Music We ate on the outside patio on 3/15. A bit chilly but they had the heat lamps roaring.There were eight of us with different meals. Some had the fish and chips as is Lent. Others has salads. I had a burger and fries because I forgot it was Lent. Anyway everyone loved the food and beverages. We could talk and hear each other. The band started about 8:30. It was kind of a blue grass, jazz type and they were good. The service was good as was the prices. We used to have a Pub in Rocky River but it went to the Airport. Anyway we were there until about 11 and we walked back to the hotel. Very nice night. - 3/18/2019

Wednesday night We usually go about once a month. The have a 60s band every other Wednesday and we enjoy the music (and even some dancing). Food is good. London Broil is excellent. On Wednesday, wine is half priced and you can take home what you don’t drink. Good selection of beer. Wait staff is always friendly - 11/26/2018 

Will go every time I am in Cincinnati In town for business and riding with coworkers back to the Marriott discussing where we should go for dinner. I had been to the Pub on a previous visit as well as one of the others in my group. Decided we should go, saw it was busy as we drove by around 1645, and decision to go at 1800 was made. I made a reservation for 5, walked over a little before 1800, went in, and were immediately seated. A member of the party requested a different table and were seated at a different table with no hesitation. I am a beer freak so their selection of draught beer made me immensely happy. Whiskey selection made another happy as well. I had previously had the fish and chips which was excellent, but ordered their Bangers and Mash which turned out to be just as good. No complaints from my table and service was outstanding. Thank you, I’ll be back - 8/09/2018

Great pub!! Had dinner one night in this Pub and enjoyed it a lot. Food was great, juicy burgers, cool staff and fair variety of beers. Price is correct. The decoration is cool and disregard most of the pubs, you have space inside and outside, to park your car, for instance. Great place to watch sports as well. - 6/28/2018 

Love this place. I am biased to this place because I eat at several of the restaurants in this group and all are great. This is a comfortable British Pub environment with pub style food that is MUCH better than you would actually get in England. For that reason, we had our daughter's rehearsal dinner in the private indoor/outdoor area. The staff is lovely. The buffet meal was good. This place makes the best Moscow Mule I have ever had. Their fish and chips are award-winning. Hamburgers are amazing........We had bangers and mash, a chicken fettuccini dish, appetizers, beef stroganov, salad for about 40 people. Planning the event was a breeze and again, the staff is great. We thought it to be affordable. The music can be a little too loud at times..... - 6/21/2018 

Excellent Late Brunch We stopped in on 3/3/18 for a quick bite. It was right by our Marriott Hotel. We used to frequent The Pub when it was in Rocky River. Anyway we had a salad and a bowl of eggs, bacon bangers and gravy which was very good. The service and prices were good. We enjoyed it. - 3/05/2018

A Bit of the Brit! The best ever for traditional English Pub fare! We loved our fish 'n chips. Cannot wait to try the other options, which looked great. Easy stop off of 71. Top Shelf Service, drinks and food for small & large groups We visited at 11 am last Friday and told the manager that we'd set up a happy hour for 3-7:30 pm that day and were expecting about 20 people. The manager was great. Gave us options of inside or outside but mentioned they had an event outside at 6:00 pm. We elected to have our gathering inside. When we came back at 1:30 pm to reserve tables, we were so pleasantly surprised that they'd set a place for our group and reserved some high tops as well. The menu of drinks was extensive and the pretzel bites were a hit. We can't speak highly enough about The Pub and most definitely will be back! - 6/27/2017

Cool Looking Bar, Great Food, Great Service The inside of this pub (and it is a real pub) is gorgeous. A beautiful wood bar in the middle of the pub. It reminds me a little of the bar on Cheers. The food is classic British food and is very good. The Scotch Egg appetizer is truly unique and delicious, The fried chicken is boneless, and also delicious. The Fish & Chips is second to none in the area. The beer selection includes many English beers, including Old Speckled Hen, which I have never seen on tap before. Great after work happy hour or social spot Nice beer selection, great ambiance and customer service and good food. I highly recommend if you are looking for a spot to have a few pops after work before heading home. They have an out door setting area that is covered but still part of the experience. Very good, better than anticipated. My wife and I were at the Rookwood shopping complex, and decided to stop for a late lunch/early dinner. We had an outstanding meal. My wife had a fish sandwich, and I had the Welsh Dip Pub Pretzel, which is like a fancy french dip, with roast beef, cheese, onions and peppers. There was au jus on the side. Both were excellent. The server even gave us a little container to take the remainder of the au jus home for our dog. (extra credit for dog lovers) The topper was the dessert we shared - called "Tipsy Berries". There were blueberries, raspberries and blackberries soaked in brand, topping fried pound cake and custard. It was great. The server was properly attentive and friendly, but not overly so. We sat on an outdoor covered patio with tall shrubs on the side on a beautiful afternoon. - 5/23/2015 

Great Beer and Atmosphere The Pub has a great atmosphere. The interior attempts to look like a british pub. The bar area is very large and they have a great beer selection. The food is pretty good as well. The bartenders were helpful on the beer selections and were good for a chat. We will definitely be dining here again. - 3/04/2015 

Warm welcome in a chilly February Stayed near to the Pub through a very cold February week and was so grateful of the warm welcome received from the servers at the Pub during several visits. If you ever get there, say hi to Brittany, she's a real star in my book! Love the rookwood! Beautiful setting in Mt Adams overlooking Cincy. Be sure to ck out the gift shop. Would encourage visitors to Mt Adams to get out of the car, take a walk through the area to truly get a feel of the neighborhood. - 10/18/2014 

England in America? Nearly! This is an American idea of a British pub. Not quite the real thing but very pleasant. Genuine British beer is served in pint glasses and gives an authentic taste, although the servers in kilts is a new one on me. The team are friendly and always up for a laugh. The food has a British feel and a really good taste. The shepherd's pie I had was delightful and worth going back for. Overall this is a fun and friendly place for a meal and a drink. - 10/17/2014 

Felt very at home in lots of ways We loved the decor and the hilarious UK English/USA English glossary in the menu. The bar looked so authentic and it was good to meet Kevin Malone, the manager. There was a great choice of sandwiches with chips or crisps (or fries or chips!) Best kept Boddington's in the area! Actually, you don't get sandwiches like that in the UK. Pub's ones are better. I love their Fish & Chips They have the best fish & chips, bangers and smashed and several other British foods. Fried Pickles, assorted beers, and other drinks. They have outside seating that we have used when we have gone in a large group. Service is very good. - 5/13/2014
